1. Who we are
RightBefore is a revenue infrastructure consultancy for B2B service firms. This website is operated by RightBefore (“we”, “us”). We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
2. What we collect
We keep what we collect to a minimum.
- When you request a free audit: your name, work email, website, the details you share about your business, when you would like to start, and your confirmation that you have seen our pricing.
- When you email or call us: the information in your messages and our replies.
- When you browse the site: basic technical data such as browser type, pages visited and approximate location, collected through cookies and analytics tools.
We do not ask for payment details on this website, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
3. How we use it
- To review your firm before the audit call and to prepare useful recommendations.
- To contact you about your audit request and, if you choose to work with us, to deliver our services.
- To send occasional, relevant follow-ups about your request. You can opt out at any time.
- To understand how the website is used and improve it.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We never sell your personal information.
4. Our legal basis
Where the UK or EU GDPR applies, we rely on:
- Legitimate interests, to respond to your audit request and run our business.
- Contract, when we provide services you have agreed to.
- Consent, for non-essential cookies and marketing emails. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Legal obligation, where the law requires us to keep records.
5. Who we share it with
We share information only with trusted providers who help us run RightBefore, such as our website host, form and email tools, CRM, calendar booking and analytics providers. They may only use it to provide their service to us.
Current providers: Google Workspace (email), Web3Forms (the audit form) and GoDaddy (website hosting).
We may also share information if the law requires it, or as part of a sale or restructuring of the business.
6. International transfers
We work with clients in the US, UK and Australia, and our providers may store data in other countries. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, as the law requires.
7. How long we keep it
We keep audit requests for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a client. Client records are kept for as long as needed to deliver our services and meet legal and tax requirements. After that, we delete or anonymise them.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies to make the site work, and, with your consent where required, analytics cookies to understand how visitors use it. You can control cookies through your browser settings or our cookie banner.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent.
- UK and EU: you can also complain to your data protection authority, such as the ICO in the UK.
- California: you can ask what we collect and request deletion. We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising.
- Australia: you can access and correct your information under the Privacy Act 1988, and complain to the OAIC.
To use any of these rights, get in touch through our website. We will reply within one month.
10. Security
We use reputable providers, access controls and encryption in transit to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so please avoid sending highly sensitive information through the audit form.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
